Our US Made double braid nylon is recommended for docking, anchoring and mooring. Double braid nylon is a soft nylon cover with a nylon core providing good shock absorption due to controlled elasticity. Nylon rope is strong, dependable and resistant to ultraviolet damage and provides a much longer life than other lines. Double braid nylon produces a strong easy to handle dock line. These dock lines contain a core to core custom 12" spliced eye by our line shop.Core to core splice is the most difficult and strongest splice for double braids. With this splice the strength is evenly split between the core and cover. Most lines for sale are tucked in and whipped which put the majority of the working load on the cover only.

General Motors' small Cadillac will take aim at the BMW 3-series
Thu, 28 Oct 2010The new Cadillac model that General Motors announced today will be aimed at the smaller models produced by BMW, Mercedes-Benz and other luxury brands. The rear-drive Cadillac is expected to be called the ATS and to arrive in showrooms in 2012 or early 2013, according to industry sources. “We will have a car positioned below the CTS in our lineup to compete with the BMW 3 Series and Mercedes-Benz C class.,” said Nick Twork, a Cadillac spokesman, during a telephone interview.
