Clearing out some of my old parts & restored caps in cleaning out the garage.

Offered is :

1969 - 70  Mustang Original Gas cap - It has been buffed , and cleaned - came out well.

This is another nice piece from my collection.  This cap does have flaws  - some slight hazing in the chrome. and there  are 2 places at the back edge that lost some of the chrome in the buffing stage so some copper is showing. The last picture shows it clearly .  The Plastic insert is virtually scratch free  and even the pattern around the edge does't have the usual discolorations of the chrome coloring inside the plastic.  inside of the cap cleaned up very well.

The cap has the original Autilite stamp , thus making it correct for 69 - 70 as the 71-73 had MOTORCRAFT caps.

....  good luck !

Pictures show condition -  so check them out

Another from one of my previously purchased parts

Mazda mourns Neil Warrior

Paradoxically, the news coverage also illustrates just how safe air travel normally is. After all, more people are lost every day in road accidents than in even the biggest air disaster.

2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 details leak, and it's going to have 620 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque

Tue, 07 Jan 2014

We won't get a complete look at the specs of the 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 until it makes its official debut at the upcoming Detroit auto show, but a web coding blooper means we get a sneak peak at some of its vital stats before the reveal. Specifically, it's set to get 620 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque -- a big boost over the 450 hp and 450 lb-ft of torque the base 'Vette enjoys. How did this happen?
