DuPont(TM) introduces the only tire shine with Teflon(R) surface protectors for a long-lasting, clear, "wet look" shine. It bonds to tires and won't leave a greasy mess. The non-stick Teflon coating leaves an invisible protective barrier to help repel new dirt, road grime and brake dust build-up for a long-lasting, clear, "wet look" shine.

Features:

  • Leaves a clear, "wet look" shine that's completely dry to the touch.
  • Coating will not "sling" off tires while driving - leaves no greasy mess on your car.
  • Spray on, walk away - no wiping required.
  • Non-petroleum-based formula helps tires resist browning, drying and cracking.

Sort of.

Mini John Cooper Works WRC: the roll cage in detail

Mini claims it’s created the safest WRC car ever – with a little help from Prodrive.  And to prove the point, they’ve opened up the Mini Countryman WRC’s innards and spilled some of the secrets of its rollcage. The Countryman racer is stripped and fitted with a new type of rollcage designed by Prodrive. Its beams curve outwards and the Banbury engineers say it has been designed to withstand impacts much better than the straight crossbeams used in most WRC cars.

Volkswagen to take full control of Porsche

    Thu, 05 Jul 2012

Volkswagen Group's decision to take full control of Porsche Automobil Holding SE's carmaking business is seen as positive by analysts. VW said it has agreed to buy the remaining 50.1 percent of Porsche SE's automotive business that it doesn't already own for 4.46 billion euros ($5.54 billion), ending a seven-year takeover saga that divided two of Germany's most powerful families. The agreement means Volkswagen can now fully fold the Porsche automaking business into its stable of brands, which range from Audi and Bentley sedans to Skoda and Seat volume models and Ducati motorbikes.
