For years, before the introduction of Motorcraft (yes there was Autolite, but rarely seen), REM was ALL we EVER FOUND in the hundreds of Ford dealerships we were in. REM are remanufactured back to or above NEW specifications by a few select large professional companies. Many times these REM are actually NEW because the remanfacturers are under contract to supply Ford, but can't get enough cores, so they buy new and sell them as REM.
