Hydrogen-powered Toyota FCV Concept revealed

  The Hydrogen-powered Toyota FCV Concept (pictured) revealed Toyota revealed last month that their latest take on a hydrogen-powered car would be revealed at this year’s Tokyo Motor Show. And here it is – the Toyota FCV Concept. The FCV Concept points clearly at Toyota’s first proper production fuel cell car – expected to hit Toyota showrooms in 2015 – and Toyota are keen we realise that, subject to a refuelling infrastructure, the hydrogen-powered FCV is just like owning a regular ICE car.

Kia has released a short film featuring Peter Schreyer that provides an insight into the world of premium car design in which he explains the importance of proportion. In the presentation, Schreyer sketches the company's new K9 sedan, describing how a rear-wheel drive platform affects the car's design, with its generous wheelbase, short front overhang and the 'prestige distance' between the center of the front wheel and the A-pillar. GM expands credit union program nationally

General Motors on Wednesday launched a nationwide test program that gives 90 million credit union members access to the company's Credit Union Member Discount Program with participating GM dealers. The "Invest in America" program also gives members access to financing on new-vehicle purchases. This follows a four-state Midwest program GM began early last month.
