Peugeot finally recreates the 205 GTi - the Peugeot 208 GTi arrives at Geneva The Peugeot 208 GTi Concept has been revealed, powered by the 197bhp 1.6 litre turbo from the RCZ. Debuts at Geneva 2012. Yesterday we had what we were convinced was a tease for the Peuegot 208 GTi, and we were right.

What's New - January 2005

BMW 7 Series update Three years after its debut BMW has announced the mid-life revision of the 7 Series, due for launch in spring 2005. The update includes exterior styling enhancements, interior fine-tuning, dynamic developments and a range of new engines. From the front, there is a new headlamp and bumper design, changes to the kidney grilles and enhancement of the power dome on the hood to give the car a more powerful face.

Autodesk European Automotive Days 2008

The 2008 Autodesk European Automotive Days conference was held last week in Munich, bringing together 200 automotive design and visualization experts. Autodesk presented their strategy and vision for industrial design, with an emphasis on 'digital prototyping', where even at the concept stage the digital model is treated not just as a set of surfaces, but is integrated within the engineering process as as a functional digital prototype, with the aim to eventually replace physical models entirely. There was also a recognition that traditional techniques continue to have an important place alongside digital workflows, as the workflows and technologies continue to evolve.
