1100693 Alternator 4H14 37 amp 1965 Corvette, Chevrolet, GMA Delco-Remy Corvette alternator 1100693 dated 4H14. I believe that is August 14, 1964. A very early 1965 model year production date. Tested "Good" at parts supply house. Spins quiet and freely, but likley would need a rebuild to be show worthy. Original case and finish is in good shape, cleaned. The event will take place during the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) AirVenture Oshkosh 2012 at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, Wis. Proceeds will benefit the Young Eagles program, which provides free introductory flights for young people.
Driver escapes unhurt in rail crash
Tue, 16 Sep 2014A 67-YEAR-OLD woman motorist has escaped injury after her car went through a level crossing barrier and collided with a train. The incident happened at 6.05am today at Datchet crossing in Berkshire. Neither the driver nor the guard on the train, which was not in service, were hurt.
