1940's and 1950's Oldsmobile Pontiac Cadillac Buick GM Vintage Sun Visor

This came off a 1948 Oldsmobile Futuramic 98 but it will fit other Split-window Windshield cars and trucks of that era (measurements below).

This was slightly damaged in transport while still installed on my '48. There's a bend and a tear on the passenger side panel but this would not be  terribly difficult for a professional to repair.

The chrome is decent with some light pitting.

No rust - I believe the panels are made of aluminum.

If you're considering this for a rat-rod or patina'd custom, it's ready to go.
If you're considering this for a restoration or high-end build, it's going to need some work.

I will carefully disassemble this for shipping, if necessary.

Measurements are as follows:
Overall Width (A Pillar to A Pillar): 56"
Measurement from A Pillar Mount to Windshield Center post: 29"
Center Post Mount Surface Length: 7.5"
Center Post Mount Holes (2): 4" On-Center
Front to Back at Center: 14"
A Pillar mount length: 4"

Get this now while you can still find them!

Fri, 11 Feb 2011

The Lotus Evora by Mansory - NOT an Evora facelift The Interwebs have had a little buzz these last few days about a facelift for the Lotus Evora. It seems the rumourmill was convinced that Lotus were about to make the Evora a bit sharper looking so it better fitted the aspirations of Dany Bahar to make Lotus the East Anglian Aston Martin. But we weren’t too sure.
