“This is the front grille removed from a 1949 Chevrolet Styleline car. It is a core to chrome or use in a rat rod. Has some bad areas with rusted through metal mainly the back supports. The main grille is ok but has some bad areas as well.”

Bertone may sell Nuccio supercar concept to Chinese collector

Italian design and engineering firm Bertone is in talks with a Chinese car collector to sell its one-off Nuccio supercar. "We are currently in close negotiations with a Chinese collector who wants to buy the Nuccio," Bertone CEO Marco Filippa told Automotive News Europe at the Beijing motor show. The asking price for the Nuccio, which took an estimated 15,000 hours to design, engineer and build, is about $2.64 million (2 million euros), Filippa said.

Nissan to move Murano build to Tennessee, report says

Nissan Motor Co. plans to shift output of the Murano crossover to its Smyrna, Tenn., plant from Japan, as it overhauls production amid the soaring yen, a news report said. The changeover will come around 2014, when the Murano is expected to undergo a full model change, Japan’s Nikkan Kogyo business daily reported on Thursday.
