VINTAGE 1950's MERCURY HOOD EMBLEM,BADGE,ORNAMENT THAT FITS ON THE VERY FRONT OF THE HOOD. IT MAY BE  FOR A 1954 OR 1955.

IT LOOKS LIKE PEWTER ON THE FRONT WITH SOME KIND OF STONES INLAID ON IT (THE RED, WHITE & BLUE PIECES). I'VE SEEN OTHERS LIKE IT ON LINE, BUT WHERE THE STONES ARE ON THIS ONE, THERE APPEARS TO BE PAINT ON THOSE.---ON THE BACK IT APPEARS TO BE BRASS.
OVERALL IT IS IN GREAT SHAPE---IT JUST HAS A NICK HERE & THERE & A FEW MINOR CHIPS OUT OF THE STONES---LOOK AT THE PICTURES.

AUDI HAS created a special edition model to celebrate the TT line’s milestone of half a million units sold. Only 500 TTS Limited Edition models will be built, with 120 coming to the UK.
