This is an NOS pair of door striker plates, Ford part #B6A 7022008-A and B6A 7022009-A. These striker plates are assembly line originals used on all 1956 Fords, Thunderbirds, Lincolns and Mercurys. It was replaced with a three piece design striker plate in 1957. They were used on both the front and rear doors on Ford passenger cars, Lincoln's and Mercurys. They are one of the CTCI excellence in authenticity items, perfect for a concours restoration! Mazda 2 three-door (2008): first official pictures

And while the five-door 2 hardly looks staid, and actually rather dynamic, the Japanese company is claiming the three-door will be even more sporty. Quite how this will be achieved Mazda doesn’t say and is remaining tight lipped until nearer show time.
Ford recalls Fusion and Milan sedans for wheel-stud problems
Fri, 09 Dec 2011Ford is recalling 128,616 Ford Fusion and Mercury Milan sedans for faulty wheel lugs. The recall affects cars from the 2010 and 2011 model years that have steel wheels. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says vibration in the studs can cause them to crack or break, possibly resulting in the wheel falling off.
New World Record is not child’s play
Wed, 14 May 2014THE NATIONAL MOTOR MUSEUM is celebrating its success in setting a new World Record for the longest line of toy cars. To achieve the record, the museum gathered 24,189 model cars and laid them bumper to bumper to create an unbroken line that stretched for 1910-metres. Snaking its way around the museum’s grounds, the line of toy cars more than trumped the previous record of 14,310 toy cars.
