You are bidding on a new 7" chrome Dual brake booster, new master cylinder with a chrome lid and correct pedal attachment.

This will power 4 wheel disc brakes, disc/ drum brakes, or 4 wheel drum brakes, but you will need to install the correct proportioning valve.

This listing includes an adjustable combination valve that has a built in brake light switch, and will allow you to run disc/drum, disc/disc, or drum/drum brakes.

This valve allows you to regulate the rear brake bias between front and rear. Distribution block connects to the master cylinder with line tubes that we supply and distributes brake fluid to all four wheels. Kit includes 5 stainless steel fittings for 3/16" brake line, brake light switch and wiring pigtail.

Special features of the combination valve:

  • Accepts 3/16" brake line.
  • Adjustable proportioning valve regulates rear brake pressure, helping to maintain correct brake bias between front and rear brakes. Easy to turn handle with directional arrows makes it simple to either increase or decrease rear brake pressure.
  • Designed for dual bowl master cylinders.
  • Distribution block connects to the master cylinder and distributes brake fluid to all four wheels.
  • Includes 2 inlets from master cylinder, 2 outlets to front brakes and 1 outlet to rear brakes.
  • Includes 5 stainless steel 3/16" fittings.
  • Includes wiring pigtail for rear brake light switch.
  • Mount to any convenient location.
  • NOTE: This is not a direct factory replacement for original blocks and some line modifications may be necessary.

Mercedes A Class production outsourced

Tue, 24 Jul 2012

Mercedes is outsourcing some new A Class production as orders continue to flood in for Mercedes’ new compact car. Last week we had the news that Mercedes will be building new A Class compact SUV – the Mercedes GLA – at the Mercedes plant in Rastatt as production of the A Class kicked off. But despite the new A Class being built at both Rastatt and the Mercedes plant in Kecskemet, Hungary, Mercedes don’t have enough capacity for the volume of order flooding in for the new A Class – over 40,000 since it went on sale just over a month ago.

How will you get to work in the year 2030?

Wed, 08 Oct 2014

Imagine a future where New Jersey adopts mass public transit and on-demand jitneys; Boston becomes hyper-dense and walking becomes the primary means of transport; Atlanta disperses even further and relies on solar power, electric cars and Google connected technologies to manage mobility; and Los Angeles tries autonomous cars, but finds the transition difficult, and its gridlock even worse. These are the scenarios proposed in a new study by New York University's Rudin Center for Transport Policy and Management. The report, which proposes scenarios rather than making predictions about the future of transportation in the US, repeatedly points to connected car technologies, autonomous cars and logistics networks as driving forces in regional mobility solutions.

Alfa Romeo at Geneva Motor Show: Alfa Giulietta

Sun, 28 Feb 2010

The Alfa Romeo Giulietta debuts at the Geneva Motor Show With only a few days to go until the Geneva Motor Show kicks off, Alfa Romeo has revealed the replacement for the Alfa 147 – the Alfa Romeo Giulietta – in more detail. Yes, we had the first photos of the Giulietta when we didn’t know (and sadly, nor did Alfa) whether this would be the 147 or the 148 or the Milano. But it’s the Alfa Giulietta.
