Nissan might delay U.S. EV output

Japan's earthquake and tsunami may force Nissan to delay the start of U.S. production of its Leaf electric vehicle, now scheduled for late 2012. "The earthquake is putting us in a very difficult situation," said Hideaki Watanabe, head of Nissan's Global Zero Emission Vehicle Business Unit.

Audi has chosen the Beijing Motor Show to unveil its new mid-sized Q5 SUV. The newcomer's exterior design is a thoroughly orthodox development of current Audi themes: a mix of Avant and Q7 ideas housed in a deeper body section than one is used to seeing. Tokyo Motor Show: Jaguar F-Type Coupe

HOT On the heels of the critically acclaimed F-Type Roadster, Jaguar has unveiled the hardtop version: the F-Type Coupe. Wowing audiences at both Los Angeles and Tokyo motor shows, the tin-top version of the British luxury car builder’s new model is expected to hit UK showrooms next March.
