Nissan has brought back the Datsun brand for developing markets, and has just revealed the GO+ model, a compact MPV based on the Datsun GO hatchback. The premiere took place in Jakarta, Indonesia, which will be the first market where the GO+ will be offered.

Mazda to recall 400,000 vehicles globally for possible wiper defect

More than 400,000 Mazda3 and MazdaSpeed3 vehicles worldwide could be subject to recall by Mazda Motor Corp. after drivers reported defective windshield wiper motors. The supersaloon is set for launch in a year, which should make Mitsubishi the first manufacturer to respond to VW's pioneering transmission. BMW and Porsche are among the car makers who are also working on rival gearboxes.
