Here are 3 used air cleaners we recently acquired from an old time hot rodders estate of car parts. I am not 100% sure what they fit, but I believe they are for Corvairs from 61 to 63. If you know that is wrong please let me know so I can correct my description. Two of these have a fitting on the side of them that you can see in the fifth and sixth pictures, the third one does not have that fitting. As you can see they will all need to be sanded and painted. The inside of two of them have some rust that you can see in the seventh picture, and one of them has some dents in the base of the snorkel that you can see in the very last picture. I didn't see any big dents in any of them, but I figure under all the dirt there are probably some dings, so count on that. Free shipping anywhere in the lower 48 United States. Int'l extra. Design Review: Audi Nuvolari quattro concept

Tue, 04 Mar 2003

Hot on the heels of the Pikes Peak study at Detroit in January, Audi today unveiled the Nuvolari quattro four-wheel drive concept vehicle at the Geneva Motor Show. In contrast to the Pikes Peak crossover SUV concept, with the Nuvolari, Audi's designers have created a classic, high-powered 2+2 GT coupe.   It's certainly powerful: a 5.0-litre V10 biturbo with FSI direct fuel injection with 600ps and a 0-100km/h time of 4.1 seconds means it's the most powerful roadgoing Audi engine ever developed.

Fri, 16 Aug 2013

Newspress Motorists are being warned about the rise of a new type of ‘crash-for-cash’ insurance scam dubbed ‘flash-for-cash’, which involves criminals flashing their headlights to let innocent victims out of side roads, then driving straight into them. Flash-for-cash incidents are said to be costing the UK car insurance industry £392 million a year – which means the scam is adding as much as £50-£100 to every ordinary driver’s insurance policy. Car insurance – scams and mythsMassive car insurance fraudsCompare car insurance As with better-known cash-for-crash schemes, where a criminal deliberately brakes their car for no reason so the person behind crashes into them, the major problem with tackling this kind of crime is that it’s difficult to prove.

Tyre kickers cost industry millions

Mon, 08 Sep 2014

CUSTOMERS who have no intention of buying a used car are costing dealers millions of pounds every year in wasted time and lost purchases. By taking up the time of sales staff and keeping them away from genuine buyers, so called ‘tyre kickers’ soak up time touring showrooms and asking questions. Some will even take a test drive while having no intention to buy a car.
