NOS tested and functional. Original box in good shape. Will also work in 1966 and 1967 GTO

I am listing a Genuine GM OEM 6 pin ignition switch for a 1964/1965 Pontiac GTO, Lemans or Tempest non a/c car which was made in the USA.  It is in great NOS condition and was part of a large Pontiac NOS lot I bought for a 1967 GTO I was restoring. After getting the car PHS documented I discovered it came equipped with a lamp group that included a lighted ignition switch.  I have since acquired an NOS lighted switch for my 67, thus I no longer have any use for this one, but figured someone doing a proper restoration of a 64 or 65 goat could use it.  The original packaging is included and is in good shape.  This piece is correct for a 64 and 65 GTO, but will work in a 67 & 67 GTO, Lemans or Tempest as well.  (I tested it in my 67 and it works fine...HOWEVER, you will need to use the 64/65 lock tumbler for it..the 66/67 was a different design.)  I do not believe it will work with a later year GTO and am uncertain about any other applications, so please do your own research.  I am including as a bonus an original tumbler for a 1964/65 switch with a key.

This is a very nice piece and is definitely a must for that concourse restoration.

No reasonable offer refused

No returns please.

Thanks for looking.

Mercedes E 63 AMG S: UK price from £83,740

Mon, 13 May 2013

The E63 AMG S is the extreme version of what is already an extreme car in the E63, with a power boost that takes it from 549bhp to 577bhp – and throws in an extra 60lb/ft of torque for good measure too – and promises real extreme performance. The problem is, getting that power down to the road. In left hand drive markets that’s solved by simply offering the Mercedes 4WD option – 4MATIC – which does a much better job of transferring power to the road than the regular RWD layout.

Ford debuts another Australian hot rod

Mon, 27 Aug 2012

Ford's Australian-based Performance Vehicles operation has unveiled its fastest car to date—the Falcon-based FPV GT R-spec. To be assembled at Ford Performance Vehicle's headquarters on the outskirts of Melbourne, the rear-wheel drive GT R-spec packs the same engine as the earlier GT335, a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 producing 449 hp and 420 lb-ft of torque. But, a range of chassis modifications, including a retuned suspension, wider 19-inch rear wheels and tires and new launch control system are claimed to provide the greater off-the-line speed than any previous model from Ford's Australian outpost.
