Hot tanked, cleaned, NOT machined. deck checked and Magnufluxed
Brand:Cadillac Manufacturer Part Number:1481288

I am posting a 1964 Cadillac 429 engine block. The block has already been magnufluxed and the deck was checked by a VERY reputable area machine shop, Hempelman Machine. I can provide documentation upon request. The block has not been machined yet so it is still bone stock. I purchased the engine for my 1966 Cadillac, however the motor mounts attach different so I cant use it. The block has been hot tanked and cleaned. It is perfect to a vintage rat rod or Cadillac restoration.  I will be listing other 1964 Cadillac 429 parts so ask if you are looking for something. I am located in Chandler az. Local pick up only. The motor does have two broken bolts that will need to be removed. They are the VERY common top bolts on either side of the crossover manifold bypast. The number on the side of the block is 64N096786. The part number is 1481288, VIN number of 46K97155 and what I believe the casting number is CFD 34. Please call or text with any questions.  Buy it now price is $600.00.   LOCAL PICK UP ONLY.  buyer pays any freight or shipping costs.  Payment due within 7 days of auction end.

The stylish and elegant lines of the understated Jaguar XFR And the interior is as much of a delight as the exterior. More bolstered seats (a necessity in the XFR), seemingly infinitely adjustable that can both cool and warm. A clean, uncluttered dash with dark oak and aluminium, with red-stitching on its leather-clad top.

This Week in 1958: Montgomery, NY, hosts Governor's Trophy Race for the third year in a row

Tue, 13 Aug 2013

Fifty-five years ago was the third consecutive year that a former Air Force base in Montgomery, N.Y., served as a racetrack. The Governor's Trophy Race was a growing event and spectators only had to travel 75 miles from New York City to see race legends like Carroll Shelby compete. Nearly 30,000 spectators came to the two-day event in 1957, and race organizers were expecting even more in 1958.
