Up for sale is used auto transmission crossmember for a 1967-70 Mustang or Cougar with a big block engine( 390, 427, 428) and a C6 transmission. This is the real deal, not an FMX crossmember. Measures 3 1/2 inches to the center of passenger side bolt hole. Has the channel that runs the length of the back side. Looks to have had a small repair, possibly a hole that has been welded up. It has been glass beaded and painted cast gray. Does have some light pitting. Comes with mounting bolts. Check out the pictures and email with any questions. Check out my other auctions.

The Honda CR-Z Hybrid gets the Mugen treatment Honda are trying to tell anyone who will listen that the Hybrid Honda CR-Z is a modern version of the Honda CRX. You know, all fun and sporty and nimble and on the right side of warm, but with all the green goodness people think they have to want. We haven’t actually come across anyone who buys in to the idea, but Honda aren’t giving up on the marketing pitch of the Honda CR-Z as the first ‘Sporty’ hybrid with the production version of the CR-Z debuting at Geneva next week.

BMW MegaCity Project i We’ve know for some time that BMW are working on a  sub-brand to launch a range of City Cars under the banner of ‘BMW Project i‘. We’ve assumed that this will end up being a revival if the Isetta name to badge up the BMW city runarounds. But it looks as if that’s not the case after a pile of new BMW trademarks were posted on the e90Post forum.

BMW has revealed the first official details of its second-generation X3 prior to its world debut at the upcoming Paris motor show. Set to go on sale in the United States in January 2011, BMW says the new X3 will be priced close to the outgoing model. The upmarket off-roader has been completely redesigned and reengineered in a move BMW hopes will see it emulate the first-generation model's success, sales of which have now topped the 600,000 mark worldwide since its introduction in 2003.
