1969 - 1973 Amal 626 Carburetor Carb Set BSA Rocket 3 Triumph T150 750cc Triples 
 

Amal 626 carb set one new LH carb, one new LH body/slide and one excellent used RH carb for BSA A75 Rocket 3 or Triumph T150 triples (not for T100) very hard to find now with throttle rod assemblies for BSA Triumph triples. Intended for a race bike project but never used thus there are no choke slide/ spring assemblies with this group. Small manufacturing cosmetic blemish on float bowl (see pic) of new carb, blemish does not affect carb operation.  Vastly reduced price from new for little more than the cost of one new carb:

Finalists announced in Fiat UK's 'Smiles per Hour' design competition

Fiat UK has picked five finalists in the ‘Smiles per Hour Design Competition', a design contest we first told you about back in July. The aim of the competition was to find a budding designer in Britain who would develop a clever and amusing new way to travel. Following an initial judging process, the selection for best designs comprised of Simon Tarrant's 'Street Rower'; Nick Rawcliffe's 'Snowbone'; Natalie Daghestani's 'Hylo female commuter shoe'; Steven Spong's ‘Longbow'; and Harley Zblewski's 'Suitcase Car' -  a design we first saw at Coventry University's annual Degree Show in June.

New drug-drive offence a step closer

PLANS to bring in drug-drive limits for the first time have moved a step closer. But the Government is looking again at the proposed legal limit for amphetamine following concerns expressed during the consultation process. In the meantime, following consultation, recommended limits for 16 different drugs have now been approved.

The Mercedes S63 AMG is the firts to get the new AMG 5.5 litre V8 Bi-Turbo Mercedes’ top end AMG engine has changed over the last few years. It’s gone from a 5.5 litre supercharged lump to the now ubiquitous 6.2 litre normally aspirated engine, which anomalously gets badged ’63′ throughout the cars that sit at the top of each of Mercedes big-engined ranges. But now we go back to the future with the return of a 5.5 litre V8 – admittedly a completely new engine (M571) – which this time round sports a pair of turbochargers and delivers 554 hp and 590lbs/ft of torque.
