First stop on the tour was Valencia, where the world’s media gathered at Aston Martin’s expense to eat, drink, grab a few rays and fit in a drive or three in the first Aston Martin four door in a generation. No doubt a good time was had by all, and we got a few stories out of it.

We reported that a Supersports Convertible was likely back in October, and as Bentley have managed to chop the top off all the other iterations of the Continental GT there was no way they were going to pass up the chance to add another variant to the list. Jaguar plots new flagship coupe as XK bows out (2014)

The Ian Callum-penned coupe and convertible models, which have jointly sold more than 54,000 units since arriving in 2006, have been canned with no direct replacement in the pipeline. Instead, Jaguar is plotting a stunning £110,000 flagship to rival the Aston Martin DB9 and Bentley Continental GT.
