Hoses, expansion valve, drier, and POA valve only have a couple thousand miles on them. Hoses and POA valve are classic auto air. Condenser and evaporator are out of my 71 Monte and don't leak. They will also fit Chevelles. I had everything working fairly decent but the actuator doors in the car were pretty rough. And then the cheapo autozone compressor started acting up so I tore it all out and changed the whole system to CAA.

Subaru BRZ tS is the ‘Sporty’ BRZ STI with no more go
Tue, 20 Aug 2013Subaru BRZ tS (pictured) more show – no more go When we ran the tease photo for what appeared to be the Subaru BRZ STI, we did hope this would be the BRZ with more power. After all, STI (Subaru Tecnica International) is the go faster bit of Subaru so it seemed to be pointing in the right direction, a direction lovers of the BRZ (and its sibling, the Toyota GT86) have been hoping for since it arrived – one with more power. But this isn’t the Subaru equivalent of a BMW M or a Mercedes AMG, its more the equivalent of BMW Performance Parts, where Subaru’s STI division have kitted out a standard car with bolt on modifications and called it the Subaru BRZ tS.
Transmissions gone wild!
Wed, 07 Aug 2013If you've been car shopping recently, or just paying attention to Autoweek car reviews, you've noticed that the six-speed automatic -- de rigueur as recently as a year ago -- suddenly has ratio envy. The new hotness? Eight- and nine-speed automatic transmissions.
Endurance-drivers seminar highlights Amelia Island concours
Sun, 11 Mar 2012If there were a Hall of Fame for endurance drivers, the nine gentlemen assembled on Saturday at the 17th-annual Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance would certainly be members. Event founder and chairman Bill Warner needed 25 minutes just to read off a portion of their lifetime racing accomplishments as he introduced them individually to a packed ballroom at the Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island, home of the event. Hurley Haywood, Vic Elford, Sam Posey, Joe Buzzetta, Gerard Larousse, Brian Redman, Jim Hall, David Hobbs and Derek Bell regaled the audience with tales of their amazing careers.
