 This auction is for a Passenger Side (Rear) Electric Window Assembly removed from a 1989 Chevy Z24 Cavalier Convertible.  The unit is in good condition and was removed from a car that was totaled for minor front end damage. It was tested in and out of the car and works perfectly.  The old grease has been cleaned from the unit so you should re-greased before installation.  I am told that this will fit 1983 through 1990 but you will have to check on that.  If you have questions or need more pictures please Email me.

Middlecott Sketchbattle Experiment contest pits auto designers against Detroit talent

Local creative and design talent from outside and inside the car industry will go head-to-head in a multi-round competition for the title of Sketchmaster in the Middlecott Sketchbattle Experiment (MSBE). To be held at an underground afterparty for the Auto Show Charity Preview on 17 January at the Kunsthalle Museum in Detroit, the self-styled car design fight club will be attended by industry leaders, designers from Ford, GM, Chrysler, Toyota and Tier One suppliers. Car enthusiasts, artists and designers from around the globe will also be present.

Ford's maximum C for Frankfurt Auto Show

Ford will introduce the redesigned C-Max, which uses the automaker's first global C-segment platform, at the upcoming Frankfurt auto show. The C-Max will be launched worldwide in the second half of 2010, with other models to follow on the platform, including the next-generation Focus, also coming in 2010. The C-Max takes its "kinetic" design cues from the iosis MAX concept car unveiled at this year's Geneva auto show, incorporating features such as a coupelike sweeping roofline.

Online database 'may cut car insurance premiums'

MOTORISTS could see insurance premiums cut by up to £15 a year after the Government announced that all driving licence records are being put online. The searchable database for individuals and companies to check speeding endorsements and other details could also bring down the cost of car hire. The My Licence project is the latest part of the coalition's digital agenda, which has been gradually moving services on to the internet.
