This auction is for two Air Duct Hoses. Each of them have a Government
part ID tag; 4720-00-004-8248, HOSE ASSEMBLY, Size 2, 1EA,DAAA09-84-C-0223, A10/84 . And 4720-00-004-8248,HOSE ASSEMBLY, Size 4, 1EA,DAAA09-84-C-0223, A10/84 .
I got these hoses at an estate auction (with other Armor vehicle items)
and really don’t know anything about them. I ran the NSN 4720-00-004-8248, and found that number in Technical manual
TM9-2350-252-24P-1 Title Fighting Vehicle (Change 1, page 697) noting them to
be “HOSE, AIR DUCT”. I show these hoses
to a buddy who server in Vietnam as a
tank commander, who remember them as part of the deep water fording kit. So I
guess they have been using this type of air hose for a long time. I don’t know what they are
worth, but I found one site on line where they was asking $120.00 each???- so if you need them give me an offer. ·
