Notable Atlanta car guy, Grammy-wining rapper and barbershop owner Killer Mike might be the first rapper to shout out Autoweek from the stage of a major music festival. He and his musical collaborator, the Brooklyn-based indie-rap mogul and DeLorean devotee El-P, put out the critically acclaimed, self-titled album “Run the Jewels” over the summer and, on Wednesday, they released the video for a single called “Banana Clipper,” which features legendary Cadillac man Big Boi.

Ferrari 458 Italia World Première +Video

The Ferrari has its world premiere this week in Maranello Wednesday evening saw gala presentation of the 458 Italia to an invited crowd, and Ferrari had every Ferrari-associated face on display, from Michael Schumacher to Piero Ferrari. It’s the usual glad-handing event, but we do get a few glimpses of the 458 in motion, and it’s a curtain raiser for the proper reveal next week at Frankfurt. Alpina to debut B6 GT3 race car at Geneva motor show

Alpina has been tinkering with BMW vehicles for close to 50 years and has a rich motorsports history that includes campaigns in European touring car, hill climbing, rally and endurance racing that it stepped away from 20 years ago. Now the racing bug has returned to Alpina with the announcement of its entry into the FIA GT3 European championship series. The BMW 6-series based B6 GT3 will have its first public showing at the Geneva motor show in March.
