$18 flat rate to lower 48 states only..... Up for sale is a pair of rear go kart slotted aluminum racing wheels and tires. The wheels I think are Douglas but not totally sure, the tires are Bridgestone slicks 7.1/11.0-5. The wheels are used, but in good shape. No cracks, damage, but have light curb rash, and one has a light scratch inside(see closeup). I wiped off the dust for the pictures, they are dirty, could use a good cleanup/polish to make them bling. The tires are worn pretty good and should be replaced. Chevrolet Volt fire probe is closed, NHTSA says

U.S. safety regulators said Friday that they've closed an eight-week investigation into the Chevrolet Volt, concluding that the plug-in hybrid's battery doesn't pose a significant fire risk following a crash. In a statement, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said it "does not believe that Chevy Volts or other electric vehicles pose a greater risk of fire than gasoline-powered vehicles." The agency said that modifications intended to reinforce the Volt's 435-pound lithium-ion battery pack that General Motors announced on Jan.

New range-topping BMW X7 SUV confirmed

BMW has officially confirmed it will add a new range-topping SUV called the X7 to its lineup. The X7 will be the largest SUV ever produced by BMW, offering seating for up to seven in three rows of seats. X7 production will start in 2016 at BMW's Spartanburg plant in South Carolina.

This is the Mercedes A45 AMG: the first time Merc’s in-house tuning arm has tried its hand at building a hot hatch. Packing 355bhp, all-wheel drive and a seven-speed dual-clutch paddleshift transmission, the A45 AMG will outpace a Porsche 911, but cost less than £40,000. It’s on UK sale from July 2013, but if you can’t wait that long, Merc’s baby barnstormer is appearing at the Geneva motor show from 5 March 2013.
