Nissan Townpod concept
Mon, 18 Oct 2010Nissan showed off a fresh take on the urban vehicle with the Townpod concept in Paris. Part coupe, part commercial vehicle – according to a Nissan spokesperson we spoke to at the show – the Townpod concept features a clear product aesthetic and the inherent practicality of a van, without resorting to outright utilitarianism. Jaguar brand up 39 percent for April, Land Rover up 8 percent
Tue, 03 May 2011Jaguar's U.S. sales rose 39 percent in April and Land Rover's sales rose 8 percent, compared with the same month a year ago. Land Rover reported 2,982 sales in April and Jaguar recorded 1,249 sales.
New Images: Mercedes Unimog concept
Wed, 15 Jun 2011Mercedes-Benz's Special Trucks unit (MBS) recently revealed a design study celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Unimog at the Daimler plant in Wörth, Germany. Called simply '60 Years Unimog', the concept is said to inform the future form language of Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicle design. Developed jointly by the MBS development team, the Daimler commercial vehicle designers in Sindelfingen and a model designing partner, the Unimog concept was inspired by the poison dart frog, a natie of Central and South America.
