(CL-SP-3S)PRE-OWNED Stainless Steel Telescoping Transom Boat Ladder - Telescoping ladders are attached to a fiberglass swim platform that makes boarding a marine vessel much easier. This stainless steel ladder comes with a 1 year warranty. Telescoping Transom Boat Ladder Image Gallery The telescoping boat ladder makes boarding from the water a much easier process. The boarding transom ladders are made of durable stainless steel that hold weight in the vertical position, a typical problem with rope ladders that flex and pinch toes and fingers when weight is applied. The telescoping boat ladder is long enough to prevent swimmers from having to make an uncomfortable reach when boarding, unlike one step ladders. The three-step ladders adjust from 15" – 33 1/4". The ladder comes attached to a fiberglass platform that helps swimmers board after a quick dip. When not in use, the ladder compacts to 15" and flips out of the water and onto the platform. The transom ladder and platform combo mounts to the back of a vessel with stainless steel rails. This system can be mounted with both handrails, or the alternative of one side rail. Extra stainless steel hardware is provided and consists of a 90° bracket and an angled brace that stabilizes the platform to the boat. Each step is wrapped with treaded rubber that gives traction to those entering and exiting the marine vessel. Hardware is included and drilling is required for installation. New Lexus Concept teased for Frankfurt. Is this the Lexus RC, the IS Coupe?
Tue, 20 Aug 2013New Lexus Concept teased for Frankfurt With the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show now just a few weeks away, car makers are starting to tease their offerings, with this morning’s coming from Lexus with a tease photo for a new Lexus Concept. Lexus aren’t giving anything away, but it does look like this tease could be for the new Lexus RC – and a powerful RC-F – Coupe, a two-door version of the latest IS. That makes more sense from the proportions we can work out in the photo than a first look at a more compact, sub-RX – SUV we also know is in the works, but we wonder how different it will be from the concept for the latest IS.

Canada urged to adopt European car safety standards
Mon, 23 Dec 2013CANADA has been urged to adopt European standards for new vehicle safety by the president of Mercedes-Benz Canada. Tim Reuss told reporters that if EU rules, which apply to all cars built by European industrial powerhouses like Mercedes and the Volkswagen Group, were in place Canada would already have new, more efficient, safer cars. At present Mercedes cannot import the A-Class because of the expense associated with modifying it to conform to Canadian safety requirements, and Mr Reuss argues that the current approach lacks common sense.
