This engine was pulled out of a 1968 impala that had 40,000 original miles.Just freshened by me.it is Std. Bore. Large Journal.has factory nodular caps,factory pink connecting rods marked with 0.New hastings moly rings,new herbert hydraulic cam. can use a stock converter,new delphi anti pump up lifters,,new double roller timing chain,new melling high volume oil pump,fresh valve job on 520 vortec heads. 9.7:1 compression runs on 93 octane,all new freeze out plugs and fel pro gaskets. new vortec performer intake manifold.engine is complete intake to oil pan.engine was broken in on my test run stand with brad penn 30 wt break in oil.it is ready to install.it has 5 qts brad penn 10w40 oil and a new oil filter.
Anyone is welcome to come see this engine run as it is on an engine run stand.the stand is not included in this auction. no starter,water pump,pulleys,headers or carb included in this auction.i will include the flexplate,gm hei distributor or a gm points distributor,you can choose which. and new spark plugs.this engine is for sale locally so i may end auction at any time. |
