Please read : Here is a Porsche 356 A Original Build manual for a the Classic Motor Carriages CMC Speedster replica cars. The front and back first pages have a little water damage but pages are ok. This along with another manual came with a car and all the parts and build sheet project was never started from 1985. Also included is some brochures and price list. This company was around from the 1970's until 1992. It goes into detail about what kind of car to buy and take apart, for the pan and locations of items on the car etc. etc. It is very helpful. I put it under "used" but would be more of a NOS item. Please look closely at pics before buying. I can send more pics. I think it would be hard press to find another one in this condition. Mon, 05 Apr 2010Word at the New York auto show has Mazda bringing its Sky-D direct-injection diesel engines to the United States in 2012. The first Mazda oil-burner here will be a Mazda 6-size vehicle, said Mazda CEO Takashi Yamanouchi. He wouldn’t say exactly what car, though.
Feds researching fire risks from EV batteries, regulator says
Fri, 10 Jun 2011Federal safety regulators have begun an $8.75 million study of whether lithium ion batteries in electric vehicles pose a potential fire hazard, officials said Thursday. Kevin Vincent, chief counsel of the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, said researchers are looking at whether the high-voltage batteries can cause fires when they are being charged and when the vehicles are in an accident.
CDOTY awards presented at Auto Design Night Geneva

With more than 300 attendees reading like a who's who in automotive design, designers were able to reconnect with old friends and make new acquaintances in a comfortable and inviting environment. One of the highlights of the evening's festivities included the presentation of the fourth annual Car Design News Car Design of the Year Awards (CDOTY), recognizing the most publicly acclaimed concept and production car designs of 2008. Car Design News Editor Eric Gallina presented the award to BMW Group Design in the Concept Car category and General Motors Design for the Production Design category.
