Detailed Description

Universal String-Type Inserts are an excellent emergency repair when a full service repair facility is unavailable. Made of a butyl rubber, these inserts are very strong, allowing easy insertion through steel belted radials. Perfect for repairing lawn tractor, golf cart, ATV, and other off-road tires.

  • Temporary repairs sealing by compression only
  • For use in radial and bias ply tires
  • Excellent for golf carts, lawn mowers, and ATV's
  • Install 12-370 and 12-371 using any closed-eye needle
  • Install all other string type inserts using any split-eye needle

Sergio Scaglietti, famous for creating some of the most beautiful and valuable cars in the world, passed away earlier this week at the age of 91, in his home town of Modena, Italy. The name Scaglietti is synonymous with Ferrari, the moniker still being carried on the 612 flagship model, and it is a pairing that runs deeper than crossbranding and business.

Musk says no recall after Tesla Model S fires

Following a series of collisions resulting in vehicle fires, Tesla Motor’s Elon Musk recently told Bloomberg that the electric Model S will “definitely” not be recalled by the automaker. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has agreed -- so far. NHTSA decided against a full investigation after the second Model S fire in October.
