'53 thru '79 F100  8' long stepside pickup tailgate!  This is the 54¾" wide tailgate.

This is for the unusual long box for an F100, or the typical box for F250 & F350.

It's a little rough.  It's bowed just a bit (it is used!) and someone has modified the attachment points at the bottom by welding in pins so they could be attached to the box differently than originally designed.  If you're any good with a torch and welder{you must be if you are working on a 65 year old pickup} you can fix this.  One of the top tabs is bent.  Rust on the bottom tube is just getting started - see photos.  It is likely this can be fixed. 

Shipping will be not be too bad, but it's best if you can come and get it.  Local delivery to the {Denver / Colorado Springs / Limon} area is available:  anywhere {East of I-25, South of I-70 and North of US-24} for $39.95!    It weighs ~37#, and if shipped, will need to be boxed up at an additional cost, adding a few pounds.  UPS is our carrier of choice for items like this.

Caterham Cars - China Bound It’s quite an eventful time for car-making minnows Caterham – keepers of the Colin Chapman Flame- with a takeover at Caterham  by Tony Fernades and Team Lotus only just complete, and now the news that Caterham are going to be selling cars in China from 2012. The takeover by Team Lotus has seen Caterham Cars’ profile on the international stage rise considerably as its logos appear on the Team Lotus F1 cars, which will do its prospects of selling Caterhams around the world no harm at all. Caterham has now signed an exclusive deal with Chinese importer Courtenay Trading International (CTI) who are aiming to appoint six retailers in key provinces of China over the next twelve months with a modest sales target of 50 cars in the first year.

Ssangyong are teasing a new version of the Rodius people carrier ahead of a debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. If you want to see a car that’s been hit by an ugly stick, you can’t do much better than take a look at the current Ssangyong Rodius. But you’d better be quick, because Ssangyong are planning to introduce a much slicker looking Rodius (pictured above) at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.

Daimler-Renault alliance to delay new Smart and Twingo models, report says

Renault SA and Daimler AG, who are sharing technology to build the new Smart ForTwo and Renault Twingo cars, will delay the introduction of the models by a year, according to a French newspaper. The cars will now come to market in 2014 instead of 2013, La Tribune said, citing industry sources. The next ForTwo and the third-generation Twingo will be built on Renault's A platform, with ForTwo production continuing at Smart's plant in Hambach, France, and Twingo output at Renault's Novo Mesto factory in Slovenia.
