Fri, 06 Apr 2012

1957 Ferrari 625 TRC Spider RM Auctions has added a rare 1957 Ferrari 625 TRC Spider to its list of desirable Ferraris offered at May’s Monaco auction. RM Auction’s Monaco sale takes place the same weekend as the Monaco Grand Prix in May, and we’re starting to wonder which will be the biggest attraction after RM revealed a new addition to their list of ultra rare and desirable Ferraris up for auction at their event. TheĀ 1957 Ferrari 625 TRC Spider – chassis #0680 MDTR – is the rarest of all TRs made and is one of just two factory-built TRCs.

For the rest of you… The Cane Toad was introduced in to Australia in 1936 in an effort to curb the population of beetles decimating the sugar cane crop.

BMW and Toyota to team up for sports car

Fri, 29 Jun 2012

BMW and Toyota have agreed to jointly engineer and produce a new sports car as part of a broad-reaching technical partnership that is also set to center on lightweight construction solutions, fuel-cell development and hybrid powertrains. The announcement of the deal builds on an existing agreement for the supply of BMW diesel engines for various Toyota models, agreed to in December 2011. That was advanced with the signing of a memorandum by BMW CEO Norbert Reithofer and Toyota chairman Akio Toyoda in Munich, Germany, on Friday.
