Nissan teases new 2013 Pathfinder ahead of Detroit debut

New Nissan Pathfinder Tease - in the shadows There’s a new Nissan Pathfinder on the way for 2013, and Nissan are teasing the concept they’re taking to the Detroit Auto Show. The current Nissan Pathfinder isn’t the biggest seller in the world. It’s a boxy, old-school seven seat SUV that manages to mop up a few sales from those who want a Discovery but can’t afford one.

IAAD exhibition - 'The car that does not exist'

The work of Transportation Design students at the Institute of Applied Arts and Design - Turin, will be shown in an exhibition covering the study and planning of a concept car for Fiat, and a new sedan for Honda. Titled 'The car that does not exist', the exhibition will open on Monday 28th June at the Automobile Museum of Turin (press 2pm, public 6pm) and runs until 2nd September. In addition to the students projects, the exhibition includes historic vehicles and prototypes from both brands.

Future products: Acura will push for luxury credentials without V8, RWD

The dreams of getting a V8 engine, rear-wheel-drive platforms and a sports car to replace the NSX have died for Acura dealers. Now the question is whether Acura can follow Audi's lead and elevate its brand from premium to luxury with front- and all-wheel-drive platforms. Meanwhile, Acura may return to two segments that it had abandoned by adding a compact car and a coupe.
