1973 Mopar E Body Radio AM FM
Here is a good working 1973 Mopar E body radio. We have checked this radio out and have repaired it as needed. Now it plays good. Both AM and FM work good. After repairing this radio we let it play several hours and then came back the next day and let it play some more. We will test it one more time before sending it out. We give a 60 day warranty on this radio. Radio face is not perfect. When looking close you can see the front has a few real small dings in it. I think it will look OK in a driver. We do not have any knobs for this radio.

London's GPS-based speed-limit trial puts Big Brother's foot on the gas pedal

Wed, 08 Jul 2009

A fleet of 12 Toyota Priuses in London have been fitted with GPS-linked speed limiters to measure how drivers respond to having their speed controlled by a computer rather than their own feet. For now, the trial is local to London, run by Transport for London, the agency that manages the city's roads, buses, subways and trains. The agency is using its own fleet of Priuses for the test and will add a bus and a taxi later this year.

Toyota ME.WE Concept: It’s an egalitarian EV

Wed, 24 Apr 2013

Based on the electric running gear of the Toyota i-Road we saw at Geneva (but with a full set of wheels) Toyota and Massaud have created an urban vehicle that takes transport back to the basics; a 2CV for the 21st century, perhaps, or a grown up home-made kart seems to be where the ME.WE is at. The construction of the ME.WE comprises a tubular aluminium chassis and a pile of interchangeable polypropylene panels that can change the function of the ME.We from city car to convertible to pickup to 4×4 (thanks to electric motors on both axles) and is, by any definition, transport and not a car you’d have to make a statement. Inside is just as basic with a single dial for the instruments, flat surfaces made from bamboo (designers love a bit of bamboo), batteries for the electric motors under the floor and you have to store any luggage on the roof under a weatherproof cover.
