Perfect Condition 94-01 Acura Integra Tan OEM Steering Wheel.  It will fit any 94-01 Integra.  The steering wheel grip has absolutely no wear and looks and feels like it just came from the dealership.  It came off a '95 GS-R always garaged with low miles and again will fit any model 94-01 Integra (RS, LS, SE, GS, GS-R, Type-R).  Definite upgrade if your steering wheel is all chewed up which is common for Integras.

And just a bit of advice for those of you doing this as a DIY, the easiest way to remove the two T-30 Torx bolts holding the airbag is to use a ratchet with a 3" extension and a T-30 socket and press the ratchet in so the socket gets a good bite on the bolt while pulling the ratchet counterclockwise.  The bolts come out real nice and nearly unscathed.  Many people like to make this process much more arduous than it needs to be by using a long T-30 screwdriver.  That really does nothing but make you sweat a lot more than need be.  The ratchet extends the lever arm thus increasing torque, and it is a piece of cake that way.  A long T-30 screwdriver does not increase the lever arm it only extends the distance through which the minimal hand torque runs.  It's basic physics.  Torque = Force x lever arm.  If you increase the lever arm, you increase the torque.

2011 model year is a quickie at Chrysler

Mon, 04 Apr 2011

As soon as Chrysler Group dealers stock up on vehicles of the shortened 2011 model year, they'll have to start getting ready for the 2012 models. The truncated 2011 model year is a result of Chrysler's efforts to reinvigorate its lineup after its 2009 bankruptcy. The company introduced 16 new or revamped models for 2011 after a frantic 18-month engineering push.

UPDATE: Whoever you are, wherever you are, take a moment to think of Chris Economaki. Make it your personal tribute, however brief, to this grand old man of auto racing journalists because he left us late Thursday, Sept. 27 at age 91, and he left a hole in the motorsports firmament that can never be filled.

Subaru BRZ: The Video

Thu, 01 Dec 2011

Subaru BRZ Video With the Subaru BRZ officially debuting at this week’s Toyota Motor Show, Subaru has released a video of the BRZ on the move. It’s hard not to feel a bit let down by the Subaru BRZ. Perhaps the quote attributed to Subaru that the BRZ would get ‘less than 300bhp’ was lost in translation, but the fact the BRZ comes with just three horses more than its cousin the Toyota FT-86 just leaves a feeling of disappointment.
