Ferrari plan VIP club so ‘Elite’ get limited edition Ferraris. How Silly.
Sun, 27 Nov 2011Ferrari VIP Owners Club - for cars like the SA Aperta It seems Ferrari are planning an elite club of VIP Ferrari owners who will get the chance to buy limited edition Ferraris first. Show Review: Tokyo Concours D’Elegance
Wed, 28 Nov 2007Tokyo has hosted the first of what it hopes will become the Japanese equivalent of America's Pebble Beach and Italy's Villa D'Este. Held at the plush Tokyo Midtown shopping mall/commercial complex, the Tokyo Concours D'Elegance was initiated by enthusiast Paul Goldsmith and coincided with the first public days of the Tokyo Motor Show - though regrettably also with a typhoon, forcing organisers to cover the cars on the lawns, which were ultimately closed due to flooding. Fortunately, the exhibition had been split between in- and outdoors, and while the weather lashed out at those braving the winds, there were still some interesting displays for those wishing to remain dry.
Icon Helios: the Tesla Model S streamliner inspired by DC-1s
Fri, 01 Aug 2014By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 01 August 2014 07:04 US craft modders Icon have come up with an unusual take on the electric car: the new Icon Helios is a dramatically rebodied Tesla Model S inspired by streamliners and ‘30s aircraft. Better known for modifying Land Rovers and Jeeps, Icon CEO and lead designer Jonathan Ward has now turned his hand to a more futuristic idea - making electric cars truly desirable. The Icon Helios is the result.
