Lincoln, Chrysler score high in AutoPacific satisfaction survey

Lincoln and Chrysler were the top-ranked brands in AutoPacific's national customer-satisfaction survey for 2011. This was the 15th installment of the annual survey, measuring which brands do the best job keeping customers happy. Lincoln snagged Highest Satisfaction Premium Brand and Chrysler won Highest Satisfaction Popular Brand this year.

Scott Bailey, Automobile Quarterly founder, dies at 87

Scott Bailey founded Automobile Quarterly in 1962. The hardbound publication became a respected voice on all subjects automotive and an important chronicle of automotive history. Maserati GranCabrio MC, Maserati Levante & Maserati Ghibli: Paris 2012

Maserati has revealed the GranCabrio MC at Paris 2012 and revealed new names joining the current Maserati line-up – Levante & Ghibli. The GranCabrio MC is, more or less, the open-topped version of the GranTurismo MC Stradale and gets the same powertrain setup, with a 453hp, 4.7 litre V8 with 520NM of torque. But it doesn’t get the automated manual of the  GranTurismo MC and instead gets a more ‘comfortable’ regular auto ‘box.
