Here I have a nice rebuilt generator for 49 Ford or Mercury Flathead V8's. May work on 50-53 Ford pickups with the wide belt. This is for 6 volt and has the wide pulley, you could change out the pulley for 50 to 53 cars. Picture shows the narrow pulley, but it's just for reference. It has new bearings, brushes and the 6V field coils have been rewrapped. The armature has been turned and checked for shorts on a growler. This one is nice, just got thru with it. I have been rebuilding these since the 50's so I have got the experience. Has been tested and run for 30 minutes and works fine. I will not warranty these if they do not meet my expectations, so buy with confidence. NO CORE RETURN REQUIRED. You should be please with this one, comes with a 30 day warranty. Ready to install on your Ford or Mercury. Ships in the USA only.

Mon, 14 Apr 2014

Stirling Moss drove the 1956 Mille Miglia in a heavy rain that came down in sheets; no visibility, no brakes. Spectators lined the streets regardless. Piero Taruffi took the lead in a Maserati 300S, but he had to stop at Savignano when his brakes gave out.

Thu, 01 May 2014

Volkswagen launched its revamped consumer website on Thursday. It looks more like OK Cupid or Plenty of Fish or Match.com. Yeah, we’ve used a few, so what?
