Here is a great deal for anyone needing a new transmission..What you have here is a nearly NEW transmission for almost half the price. The story behind this is interesting. I own a 06 legacy gt wagon and it is modified. My car puts out too much power for this transmission. So once my last trans started to slip. I took it into Subaru and since my car was still under warranty they gave me a brand new trans. I already knew that I was going to swap a 6MT into my legacy. Which I have now done. So I drove my car (very carefully) straight to the shop and had it taken out. So now I have a almost new trans with under 100 miles on it. Not 100 thousand.. 100 miles. As you can see in the picture is is so clean you could eat off of it. I can verify this with the shop that took it out that this is for real. The work was done at an all Subaru shop in Schaumburg Illinois called six star motorsports. Shipping for this item is a flat $200 within the continental US. It can be delivered to your door. But you will have to lift it off the truck. It will be pelleted and strapped down. It can be lifted with two people but much easier with 3.  I am also throwing in the matching auto wiring harness. This harness is completely uncut and in great shape.

Please be sure it fits before you bid. There are many sites to help you with this and I know most of the basics. 06-09 , Legacy gt, outback H4 2.5L H6 3.0L and Tribeca 3.0L. Don't take a chance with all these low budget chop shop, salvage yards with cheap trans, that you have no idea how much use it got. The only way to tell how much life is on a trans is to know how it was driven. Not the mileage. In that case you can be SURE this is as close to NEW as its gonna get. The last thing you want to do is have to replace the transmission another time. Do it right the first time. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Flat shipping within continental U.S.

I have has numerous people email me and say that it is going in an 05 vehicle. I don't believe this will work on an 05 vehicle. Ive told all of them to do research and be sure. I cannot totally remember what it was about the trans. But I believe it was some sort of computer module that was not backward compatible.

Here is a list of cars it will work for. Any of these set ups with a model year 06 or later.  Date Body Engine Train Transmission Grade '03, November — '07, March SEDAN 2500CC EMPI DOHC TURBO FULLTIME 4WD 5SP Automatic transmission 25GT(OBK:XT) '03, November — SEDAN 2500CC EMPI DOHC TURBO FULLTIME 4WD 5SP Automatic transmission 25GT LIMITED(OBK:XT) '03, November — '07, March WAGON 2500CC EMPI DOHC TURBO FULLTIME 4WD 5SP Automatic transmission 25GT(OBK:XT) '03, November — '08, April WAGON 2500CC EMPI DOHC TURBO FULLTIME 4WD 5SP Automatic transmission 25GT LIMITED(OBK:XT) '03, November — '06, June SEDAN 2500CC EMPI DOHC TURBO FULLTIME 4WD 5SP Automatic transmission 25GT LIMITED-I(OBK:XT) '03, November — '06, JuneWAGON 2500CC EMPI DOHC TURBO FULLTIME 4WD 5SP Automatic transmission 25GT LIMITED-I(OBK:XT)

Audi R8 V12 Diesel canned – but it’s old news

Thu, 07 May 2009

The Audi R8 V12 Diesel - Audi confirm it won't be built [ad#ad-1] The interweb is full of stories today revealing that Audi has dropped plans to produce a diesel version of the fabulous R8. The Audi R8 V12 diesel was first shown to a pretty astonished motoring press (and it takes a lot to astonish us) at the Detroit Motor show early last year. So keen were Audi to get the press on-side with the car and the whole concept of a diesel supercar, that they made the R8 diesel available for motoring journalists to have a play.
