Higher speed limits result in fewer crashes

Raising the speed limit can make roads safer, according to a study carried out in Denmark. The Danish Road Directorate monitored how driver behaviour and accident rates changed when speed limits on country roads and motorways were increased. It seems that at least one automaker is ready to embrace wearable computer technology before it become as ubiquitous as a cell phone, as Hyundai has just announced that its new 2015 Hyundai Genesis sedan will be compatible with Google Glass. The wearable computer with an optical head-mounted display is becoming more and more common, and Hyundai engineers have teamed up with Google to make it interact with the car's Blue Link infotainment system. Users will need to download a Blue Link Glassware app to manage a number of the car's functions, such as remote start, remote locking, and a vehicle finder.
