DESCRIPTION: Art deco speed boat racing trophy wood base with brass sections. Brass plate reads "W.B.A. Alton Bay 2nd Donated By C.A. Moore's". Outboard speedboat trophy top is 5 1/2" long. Trophy stands 7 3/4" tall overall and base is 2 1/2" x 5 1/4" across and weighs 2 pounds and is in excellent condition. I am listing quite a few speedboat trophies with buy it now prices and will consider reasonable offers. Can combine sales to save you shipping costs. Sun, 23 Oct 2011Toyota & Mercedes-Benz are the Top Global Automotive Brands 2011 Interbrand, a branding consultancy, delivers a report on the world’s brands every year, and in 2011, despite recall woes and the devastation of the Japanese Tsunami, Toyota leads the automotive brands, with luxury car maker Mercedes-Benz just behind. Interbrand uses three measures to gauge how effective a brand is – performance of branded product, the brands ability to secure earnings and the role of the brand in purchasing decisions – to come up with a chart of the top 100 world brands. At the top of the tree are companies like Coca Cola, IBM, Microsoft and Google, but car brands do well with Toyota, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Honda, VW, and Ford all making it in to the top 50.
Hyundai ix35 Facelift goes further in Korea – and looks better for it
Tue, 07 May 2013Last year we had spy shots of the Hyundai ix35 facelift floating round Korea – Hyundai’s home market – which showed a much more convincing nose than the, then, ix35 in Europe, but they eventually turned out to be photos of the ix35 FCEV which Hyundai had given a nose much more like the new Santa Fe and which we thought pointed at the 2013 facelift for the ix35. But when the Hyundai ix35 did turn up at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show with a bit of a titivate, it was exactly that – some very minor tweaking which kept the 2013 ix35 looking very similar to the 2012 model. But that’s not happening in Korea.
