Mercedes GLA – the A-Class SUV – will arrive in production guise at Frankfurt

The production version of the Mercedes GLA Concept (pictured) will debut at Frankfurt 2013 It’s only three months since the new Mercedes GLA debuted at the Shanghai Motor Show as a concept, but it’s already close to arriving in production guise. In fact, it looks like the new GLA – based on the new Mercedes A-Class underpinnings – will arrive in production form at next month’s Frankfurt Motor Show, ahead of going on sale in early 2014. The new GLA is aimed squarely at the competition from the BMW X1 and Audi Q3, and if it delivers as well as the A-Class has it stands a very good chance of becoming the pick of the premium compact SUVs.

BMW rolls out 2014 2-series, 2015 M3 sedan and 2015 M4 coupe at the Detroit auto show

BMW had a number of debuts at the Detroit auto show this year -- we got our first (official) looks at the 2014 2 Series coupe, 2015 M3 sedan and the 2014 M4 coupe on the show floor. The electric i3 city car and its plug-in hybrid i8 supercar cousin were there as well, along with a massaged 2014 BMW Z4 convertible. Gemballa Enzo MIG-U1 revealed

The Gemballa Enzo MIG-UI Update 12/1/2010: Gemballa have now sent us more details of the Gemballa MIG-U1 and a set of photos. Revealed is probably too strong a word, as it would appear that Gemballa are not overly keen to let anyone have any information on their Gemballa MIG-U1, a customised Ferrari Enzo created for the Gemballa Middle East Distributors the Illyas and Mustafa Galadari Group. Gemballa has taken Mustafa’s own Enzo and ‘Gemballa-ed’ it.
