Sonoma Historic Motorsports Festival is full

Steve Earle, the granddaddy of vintage racing in America, has picked 375 historic race cars to fill the field at his Sonoma Historic Motorsports Festival, June 5-6 at Infineon Raceway in California's wine country. "The cars are the stars," said Earle. "And when they aren't racing, they are easily accessible in this area for the fans for that up-close and personal experience of inspecting engines, talking with owners or otherwise learning more about the sport and the restoration and maintenance of vintage cars." Earle said the event will continue the tradition of the Monterey Historic Automobile Races, which he founded 37 years ago.

Honda continues with winning formula for CR-V

Honda published the details of the 2013 CR-V small SUV on Friday. It was revamped last year so it basically carries on with minor changes. The new SMART City Car will be a giant – apparently It’s a bit of a cliche, but we’re not entirely sure Germans should use humour to promote their products. But SMART seem to have decided the way to go to tease the upcoming 2015 models of the SMART ForTwo and SMART ForFour is to try and convince that they’ve decided a small City Car is wrong and what we really need is a giant City Car. So we get two videos purporting to show what the new SMART City Cars offer – basically a SMART the size of a lorry – and set about convincing us, and gullible members of the public on camera, that this is indeed the route they’re going for the new SMART.
