Up for sale is a complete aftermarket parts inventory. We have been in business for over 50 years, primarily buying unwanted or overstocked oem parts from Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, General Motors, Kia, and Mopar dealerships, and reselling them on ebay and back to dealerships. A few years ago, we decided to delve into aftermarket parts as well. We had to buy $100k worth of their product to start up. The product is good, and sells well, but our oem business is going through the roof, and we need the room in our warehouse to stock the oem parts. The lot consists of brake pads and shoes, brake rotors, emergency brake shoes, calipers, control arms, ball joints, oil filters, air filters, transmission filters, cabin air filters, seals, etc. I have a complete list of the inventory in an excel file showing part numbers, quantity on hand, cost per part, and total cost of the inventory we still have. Our total cost on the inventory we still have is just over $80k. I can send this file in an email for your viewing pleasure! All the parts should be able to fit on 3-4 total pallets. Shipping costs to be determined based on zip code. Parts can be delivered by us via box truck within New England if that is easier. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns. Thanks for looking.

Is the Volkswagen BlueSport Roadster back on?

Sun, 05 May 2013

There was talk that VW needed at least three of its brands to take the BlueSport project in to production, and there was talk not just of a VW Bluesport but also a SEAT BlueSport, one from Skoda, another from Audi and even a Porsche BlueSport. But in the end, not a single part of VW’s vast group seemed enamoured enough with the BlueSport to take the project forward. But it now looks as though the idea of the BlueSport is far from dead, with VW’s design boss, Walter de Silva, declaring that he’s a big fan of the BlueSport project, and he’s far from the only one in the VW Group who feels the same.

Volvo tuner Polestar reveals production S60 and V60 models

Wed, 27 Nov 2013

It's not every day that we can tell you about a performance-tuned station wagon that is actually coming to the U.S., but today is one of those rare days. Volvo racing and aftermarket tuning specialist Polestar has revealed details of their production versions of the V60 wagon and the S60 sedan, which are bound for the U.S. The S60 and V60's 3.0-liter T6 engine has been tuned to produce 350 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque, which is said to give it a 0 to 62 mph time of 4.9 seconds, on the way to an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph.
