VW Eos facelift (2011) first pictures

The new face of the facelifted VW Eos is unveiled today ahead of its public debut at the LA motor show 2010. The design takes a modest step away from the 2006 Eos convertible, with shades of the new VW design language seen across the Polo, Passat and Sharan.  There's a stronger emphasis on the horizontal lines carried throughout the new design becoming stronger and more obvious towards the rear: a new corporate grille complete with chrome highlights is joined by LED daytime running lights that make the Eos look a shade wider and lower than its predecessor. Dodge will get first Fiat-based car in late 2011

The Dodge brand will receive the first Chrysler Group product based on Fiat's Compact Wide architecture, Fiat S.p.A. and Chrysler Group CEO Sergio Marchionne said Thursday. The Fiat-based sedan will broaden Dodge's offerings in the crucial compact segment.

Hyundai to badge premium cars as ‘Genesis’?

Reports from the US say that Hyundai is considering badging their premium cars as ‘Genesis’, although there will be no Genesis ‘Brand’. The rumours that Hyundai want to move in to Lexus and Infiniti territory by creating a luxury sub-brand – Genesis being the favoured moniker – have been doing the rounds for years.
