Peugeot 508 facelift (2014) revealed: in pictures

By Phil McNamara First Official Pictures 18 June 2014 13:01 Peugeot has rearmed its 508 range with a fresh look, cleaner engines and a modernised cockpit, before sending it back into a saloon market that’s proving a bloody battleground for mainstream car makers. Peugeot’s revamped saloon and estate range goes on UK sale this autumn, with prices likely to start around £20,000. The Passat rival looks refreshed by a new nose: the grille is larger, with the lion badge taking up residence there having deserted the bonnet.

The BMW i8 being filmed for BMW TV Just the other day we brought you the BMW i3 out playing in Scandinavia so, to complete the set, we thought we’d add to that with the BMW i8 doing exactly the same. These photos of the i8 being snapped in the snow are being reported as camouflaged cold-weather testing for BMW’s new “i” range of cars. Which – if you look carefully at the front of the i8 above – would seem unlikely.

Jaguar to reveal first Jaguar Special Operations car at Goodwood Festival of Speed

A new Jaguar Special Operation car is heading for Goodwood (Jaguar Project 7 pictured) It’s not just the new high performance Range Rover Sport from JLR’s Special Operations division that’s arriving at the Goodwood Festival of Speed next week, we’re also getting a new Special Operations car from Jaguar. It’s exactly a year since the Jaguar Project 7 F-Type (pictured above) was revealed at Goodwood as a precursor to the sort of cars JLR has in mind for its new Special Operation division, and now we’re getting the first fruits of the new division for Jaguar at Goodwood this year, although Jaguar aren’t yet letting on what it will be. Could it be a short-run, high-price production version of the Project 7 car, or will it be something else?
