This listing is for a vintage 1975 publication by Petersen's Publishing Company titled "Basic Bodywork and Painting".. It contains all of the necessary information and/or instructions for most techniques and procedures necessary to repair, prepare for painting and finish painting automobile bodies and metal parts. It starts off with Metalworking Fundamentals and progresses thru the various techniques and procedures to enable one to actually perform the usual work that you'd have to pay a body shop big bucks to do.. Please see the pics for a Table of Contents and examples of the page contents..The book consists of 192 pages chock full of pictures and writings. The only flaw on this book is a slight approx 3/8" parting at the bottom of the spine. The covers also show some slight light markings which could be from the printing process or just handling marks.. The inside pages all clean and crisp with only slight age-yellowing but there are no fingerprints, writing or other defects..

Subaru XV gets world’s first self-cleaning function (+ video)
Mon, 01 Apr 2013Subaru UK has revealed that the Subaru XV Crossover can now be specified with the world’s first self-cleaning function for a car. It’s a decent effort from Subaru, with added credibility as a compact urban warrior coming from Subaru’s 4WD prowess, a choice of a couple of petrol engines and a couple of diesels, manual or auto options and prices from £21k to £30k. But in a crowded market place it’s good to have a USP, so Subaru has pushed the boat out and is offering a world first for the Subaru XV – a self-cleaning function.
Lamborghini Urus SUV confirmed for 2017 – again
Sun, 26 Jan 2014The Lamborghini Urus SUV (pictured) has been signed-off for production by VW It’s already two years since the Lamborghini Urus SUV went from speculation to reality as a concept version arrived at the 2012 Beijing Motor Show. Since then we’ve had speculation that, apart from being underpinned by the next generation large SUV platform from VW, which will underpin everything from the Bentley Falcon SUV to the next generation Audi Q7, the Urus will probably be fitted with a twin-turbo V8 delivering around 600bhp, a take on the 4.0 litre twin turbo used by Bentley and Audi. We’ve also had confirmation from a Lamborghini source that the Urus SUV will launch in 2017 and spearhead Lamborghini’s drive to reach annual sales of 3000 cars.
