GM car, OnStar apps now available

Owners of 2011 Chevrolet models can now download the myChevrolet and OnStar MyLink apps, giving them the ability to start their engines, unlock and lock their vehicles and read their owner's manuals, among other services, from their iPhone or Android devices. The free downloads at www.apple.com or www.android.com became available on Friday. The app gives the Chevy owner the ability to scan the VIN with the device camera to get specific vehicle information and answers to common questions.

The Cadillac CTS-V Coupe will launch at the Detroit Motor Show 2010 There’s been a fair bit of news on Cadillac’s performance halo car the CTS-V of late. We had Bob Lutz taking on all comers at the Monticello Race Track in New York for the CTS-V Challenge (which turned in to a one-make competition) and the ubiquitous Mt Lutz confirming that Cadillac will be making a CTS-V Wagon (Estate, to us). Hyundai and Rhys Millen extend deal for 2012

Hyundai Motor America and Rhys Millen will continue their partnership into the 2012 Global RallyCross season that starts on May 26 in Charlotte, N.C. He'll return to drive the hopped-up Veloster hatchback in all seven races, including two at ESPN's Summer X Games. “I'm thrilled to represent Hyundai and the Veloster in the GRC series for a second season,” Millen said.
