BAIC C70G

Wed, 06 Jun 2012

The BAIC C70 debuted at the 2012 Beijing International Motor Show and is based on the previous-generation Saab 9-5.

The C70G, designed by Pininfarina, retains the X-shaped brand badge, which derives the Chinese word ‘Bei', meaning North. Although the exterior design of the car is slightly conservative, elents such as the sharp feature lines found adorning the car's sides mean the C70G remains sleek and elegant. The C70G measures 4,860mm in length, 1820mm in width, and stands at 1,641mm high, its Saab underpinnings adapted to the Chinese market by increasing the wheelbase to 2,755mm.

No details are yet available on what is expected to feature in the C70G's interior, but information cannot be far away with the car expected to go on sale in December.
