Audi RS7 Sportback (2013) first official pictures

This is the new Audi RS7 Sportback, just unveiled at the 2013 Detroit auto show. It's an A7 Sportback given the hardcore RS treatment, meaning a 552bhp and 516lb ft 4.0-litre bi-turbo V8 that will sprint the RS7 to 62mph in 3.9sec. That's faster than the latest Porsche 911 – it seems life just got a bit harder for the Mercedes CLS63 AMG and BMW M6 Gran Coupe.

The Chevrolet Orlando starts at £16,395 Chevrolet introduced their compact MPV – the Chevrolet Orlando – at this year’s Paris Motor Show as a tame version of the original Orlando Concept we saw back in 2008. It’s sort of what you expect from a Concept – the drama goes when production dawns – but the production Orlando is a bit visually underwhelming. JCB sets new diesel land speed record

During the first run along the Bonneville Salt Flats course on 22 August, the 1500bhp Dieselmax touched 324.24mph.The pit crew then turned the streamliner around on a turntable and prepped it for the second run. On the return, JCB's diesel-powered racer hit 333.339mph.
